As the data controller within the meaning of Art. 3 of Law 18-07, Mad Diffusion determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

We only collect personal data that you voluntarily submit through our forms:

Contact form:

• Full name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Company name

• Industry

• Location

• Event type and purpose

• Requested services

• Event dates

• Additional details

Newsletter subscription form:

• First name

• Email address

• Consent record (checkbox status and date/time of submission)

We do not collect sensitive data within the meaning of Art. 9 of Law 18-07 (health, political opinions, biometric data, etc.). We do not use cookies or collect any technical data such as IP addresses or browsing behaviour.

Subscribing to our newsletter requires your free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent (Art. 13 of Law 18-07). You provide this consent by actively ticking the consent checkbox on the subscription form. We record the date and time of your consent as proof.

You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by writing to info@maddiffusion.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Your data is processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases (Art. 11 of Law 18-07):

• Newsletter & marketing communications — Legal basis: your explicit consent.

• Responding to contact and event inquiries — Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request.

• Compliance with legal obligations — Legal basis: legal obligation.

Newsletter subscriber data: retained for 3 years from the date of your last positive interaction (opening an email, clicking a link) or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first.

Contact inquiry data: retained for 5 years from the date of last interaction, in accordance with applicable commercial and accounting legislation.

Under Law 18-07 (Arts. 20-28), you have the following rights:

• Right of access — obtain a copy of the data we hold on you.

• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data when no longer necessary.

• Right to restriction — temporarily limit processing in certain cases.

• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest.

• Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

• Right to withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting past processing.

If you believe that your data has been processed in violation of Law 18-07, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Autorité Nationale de Protection des Données à caractère Personnel (ANPDP), the competent supervisory authority in Algeria. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, or access, in accordance with Art. 33 of Law 18-07. These measures include TLS encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The "Effective date" at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated by email to newsletter subscribers.
